Valérie Félix

Art historian, artist, curator and independent researcher specialized in digital and cultural studies, Valerie Felix is active in both institutional and non-institutional settings where she has set up Code, an interdisciplinary and collaborative research project that aims to develop questions about the digital society. Mainly oriented towards scientific initiatives, her interests in the decentralization of research push her to create links between publics and the practices of contemporary art committed within society, in order to reintegrate artistic subversive action as a breeding ground for a collective consciousness. She teaches the course Art and Digital Cultures at the Edhea and is currently completing a PhD in Art and Art Sciences on the question of algorithms, in co-tutelle between the Université Libre de Bruxelles and La Cambre.
